Damn pot holes v mighty pen

A NUMBER of months ago, I wrote here on the subject of potholes, and in doing so, I kicked up a proper stink. I tore into those in authority, and left no stone unturned as I rampaged on about their failure in sorting out the crater-ridden tracks that are our rural roads.

’Twas a hard hitting piece, the likes of which usually wins awards and all sorts of accolades.

Anyway, when the paper hit the stands, you can be sure those responsible for the upkeep of our roads spent the day huddled away under their desks, hiding from my hard-hitting words.
