Also off to a good start is its proposed sale, according to selling agent Killian Lynch of KL Auctioneers, Macroom.

He’s been fielding a lot of calls about the 30-acre tillage ground property, from farmers for the most part — although there’s considerable interest from hobby farmers too, he says. The land is sandwiched between the main Cork-Killarney road and Church Road, Ovens, with the Ovens Bar local landmark close by.
