53-acre Charleville farm sure to spark interest

UP for grabs tomorrow, this 53-acre farm is sure to draw interest from local farmers, and those throughout the Golden Vale.

The lands at Broghill, Charleville, will go to auction through Richard Ryan of GVM and he’s quoting a pre-auction guide price of €8,000 per acre, a reasonable level considering the strong prices achieved this year.

The land is all one block, and it is a good roadside farm, he says, with fine grazing, including about nine acres of summer pasture. The location, just a mile from Charleville, also makes it very attractive.
