Land back on the market at a new price level

THIS 81-acre farm at Coolavokig, Macroom, Co Cork, was placed on the market in July of 2008, and was withdrawn because it didn’t reach the guide price of €850,000.

The land is now back on the market, through agent Killian Lynch of Killian Lynch Auctioneers, at offers in the region of €550,000 — even though it reached €800,000 last time round.

There has been considerable interest already, says Lynch, who says the farm is fierce fattening ground, with some 65 acres of top class grassland.
