Busy year for Innishannon

THE busy South Cork guild at Innishannon got the past year off to an altruistic start with two whist card drives which raised proceeds for the Bandon Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber and Rehab.

They were at it again last January, presenting a cheque to the Bandon conference of St Vincent de Paul, and a subscription was also made to Bóthar.

Last September featured a social night in Kinsale’s Trident Hotel (including their Fawlty Towers show). A talk by Kathleen Barry of Arthritis Ireland was the October focus.
