Open day focus on tech cow care

AN open day will be held on the farm of Billy and Joanne Buckley, Banteer on Wednesday next from 11am to 4pm.

The most modern facilities and technology for individual cow care will be on display, in conjunction with the Dairymaster, Alltech, Easyfix and Volac companies.

The Buckleys have a high-yielding herd averaging over 1,800 gallons per cow.
