BRITISH buyers took home three of the 15 animals sold in the elite youngstock sale at Emerald Expo in Kilkenny last week.

Wills Brothers Ltd paid €5,400 for the top priced lot, Ardnasalem KJV Raven 2 ET, a November calf, sold by Patrick Colton.

There was a British success also in the Volac International Showmanship Championship, for Rebecca Channing, with the reserve award going to Emma Behan, Co Kildare, and the honourable mention for Padraic Murphy, Co Kilkenny.
