Go-ahead for TippTown cattle mart

BORD Pleanála has upheld the decision of South Tipperary County Council to grant permission for a cattle mart near Tipperary town.

The council granted permission in March to Tipperary Cattle Mart Ltd for two sales rings and associated buildings at Ballinalard on the Emly Road.

This was appealed to An Bord Pleanála by Dan and Noreen Collins, Peter O’Grady and Christy and Eileen Ryan.
