Final offers on table for Mallow land

FINAL offers are being invited today for a tidy parcel of land at Knockansweeney, Mallow, through Trevor McCarthy of Irish and European.

The 33.5 acre farm, which went on the market this time last year, is fine, fertile grazing land, he says, in one block divided into six fields without waste. A mile and a half from Newberry Cross, the land is close to Mallow racecourse and comes with 100 metres of road frontage.

The guide price is in the region of €15,000 per acre, and the agent expects to bring matters to a conclusion shortly.
