Kinsale land could match Castlepark sale price

THE forthcoming auction of 17 acres at Ballynamona, Kinsale, is expected to achieved the same values as a recent tillage land auction at Castlepark, Kinsale.

That 50-acre farm close to the harbour town set a benchmark for local sales when selling for €16,000 per acre.

Sarah O’Keeffe of Fleming Auctioneers says the 17-acre holding on offer at Ballynamona would also make excellent tillage ground.
