With banks once more prepared to underwrite farm acquisitions (but only in the right area and in the right circumstances), and with milk and grain prices improved, agriculture offers one of the only good news stories in the depressed economy. That effect is trickling into a moribund property market, where land sales, particularly at auction, are showing positive outcomes.
This farm, on offer at €7,000 to €8,000 per acre, includes a derelict main residence and attached stone-built sheds.
