Fine weather for harvest

FINE weather over the past week helped farmers countrywide to effectively complete their work on the 2010 harvest.

Harvesting had been practically finished in the south by last weekend but areas in the Midlands and north were not completed.

However, the sunny weather has boosted that work and excellent progress is being reported.
