Dairygold and Glanbia scoop cheese awards

DAIRYGOLD Food Ingredients UK and Glanbia Ingredients Ireland were among the big winners at the recent Nantwich cheese show in England, said to be the world’s largest show of its kind, with 300 cheese classes for 3,230 cheeses, and entries from 24 countries.

Dairygold Food Ingredients UK won the Bradbury and Son award for grated cheese, and the David Dunn Memorial Trophy for the best cheese board.

Glanbia Ingredients Ireland won the Fayrefield Trophy for the best overseas cheddar, and the Guy Smith Trophy for the best single mature cheddar.
