SMEARLAVIEW A Storm Vixan is a multiple national champion after winning last weekend’s Bailey’s Irish Champion Cow.

It was her third time winning the €8,000 competition at the Virginia Agricultural Show in Co Cavan.

The Irish Examiner Supreme Championship of the National Dairy Show in Millstreet, and the RDS Champion of Champions award, also in 2007, the exhibitor bred championship at the prestigious World Holstein Friesian Conference Show in Millstreet in 2008, and her National Spring Fair championship earlier this year are among her earlier triumphs.

Her winning milk-production looks are confirmed by average lactations of 3,000 gallons.
