25k an acre sought for gravel deposits farm

Some 50 acres could have what Brady describes as “enormous amounts of high-grade rock” and an assessment has already been completed.
The land will require planning permission and the agent is open to agreeing a sale subject to planning before the auction.
The guide price of 25,000 is high for agricultural use, he agrees, but says it’s very reasonable for land with the quality of deposits that this property has.
The 65 acres is generally good quality agricultural land and while road frontage is limited, it has two access points for the main road.
The Caum property is 2km from Macroom town on the Carrigadrohid side.
