Holstein sets record

A NEW Holstein milk production record has been set for the United States by Ever-Green-View My 1326-ET.

The four year old has produced a 365-day record of 72,170 pounds of milk, with 2,787 pounds of fat and 2,142 pounds of protein (6,993 gallons or 31,792 litres at 3.86% fat and 2.96% protein).

Bred and owned by Thomas J Kestell of Waldo, Wisconsin, Ever-Green-View also holds US junior four-year-old records for milk and fat production in the 305 and 365-day categories.
