1,200 Single Payment applicants face cuts

All applicants will be paid at least 2% less than last year, due to modulation increasing from 5% last year to 7% this year.

Additional modulation of 4% will be applied to payments greater than €300,000. Previously, modulation was applied to the entire payment, and a refund was later issued to reflect the exemption from modulation on the first €5,000.
