MORE pressure on prices has been the general tone of the trade for lambs this week.

Price range wider than normal

Most of the plants have reduced their quoted prices by around 5 cents/kg (2p/lb), with wider than normal quoted price variation emerging.

At the upper end of the trade, the Co Kildare based Mayvalley Meats, qouting an all-in 360 cents/kg (128p/lb) on Monday, was unchanged from last week.
