Just under €10,000 per acre for 37.5-acre residential farm

JUST under €10,000 per acre was achieved after auction last Friday for a property at Clarina, Co Limerick.

Auctioneer Billy Gabbett sold 37.5 acres and an old house in lots, following negotiations immediately after the auction. Located seven miles west of Limerick city, 19.657 acres including the residence and outbuildings sold for €225,000, and 17.8 acres sold for €167,000 to a neighbouring farmer.

The agent said he was delighted with the sale.
