400 acres with €9,500 entitlements on the market

UP the airy mountain, down the rushy glen — that about sums up the qualities of a 400-acre farm that’s on the market in west Kerry as an executor’s sale.

Tom Dwane of O’Donoghue and Sons is selling the farm at Garrane South, Cahirciveen, which includes a bungalow residence in need of repair, and two old stone outhouses.

Run for years as a sheep farm, the land is being sold by private treaty with a guide price of €1 million.
