AN interesting farm holding in the Mealagh Valley, near Bantry, has a bit of something for everyone.

73.5-acre farm offered for sale in up to five divisions

The 73.5-acre holding, located seven miles from Bantry, at Barnagowlane, is in three divisions. It can be sold in five lots or one, says John O’Neill of Celtic Properties.

The executor’s sale by auction will be held in the Bantry Bay Hotel on November 7. The property includes a three-bedroom farmhouse with a range of stone outbuildings, which may appeal to the doer-upper, and which can be sold with nine good quality acres, says O’Neill. That is Lot B; Lot A is the entire farm, for which the guide price is in excess of €550,000.
