Picturesque 25-acre holding with coastal frontage and planning prospects

HOUSE sales from new developments in the Co Cork coastal townland of Ballymacoda are going very well — so a prime piece of coastal land should do likewise.

Picturesque 25-acre holding with coastal frontage and planning prospects

This 25-acre holding at charmingly-named Ballyskibbole has access to a local beach, and coastal frontage, even if it is a cliff face.

There is the prospect of residential planning permission despite the sensitive coastal position because the farm comes with four run-down cottages on a corner of the land fronting onto a crossroad.

The road runs to the beach on the farm’s northern boundary. Presently under tillage, the land is of good quality and is dry, said auctioneer Christy Buckley, who said it was good value at a guide price of €20,000 per acre.
