A nice compact farm in Kildare

FULL planning permission for a small equestrian centre comes with a 28-acre farm at Clongorey, near Newbridge in Co Kildare.

The property is described as a “nice, compact farm” by Paddy Jordan of Jordan Town and Country estates and it’s located close to the M7 interchange at Newhall.

And it has excellent quality land, he says, with planning in place for eight boxes, an all-weather arena, tack and feed rooms, horse walker and other ancillary facilities.

Lovely views over the Dublin mountains come gratis and the farm is laid out in pasture in two paddocks. It’s ideal as a small stud or prep yard and will be auctioned on July 10 next with a guide in excess of €20,000 per acre given.

Meanwhile, the same agent is selling a 42-acre holding at Dunaney, Kildare and says it’s suitable for grazing or tillage.

Located off the Kildare to Kildangan road, it has a cul-de-sac entrance and is laid out in one block.

The farm comes with good road frontage: it’s due for auction on the July 17 and carries a guide of €20,000 per acre.
