A DERELICT cottage and a good yard come with the sale of top quality land at Moortown Castle, Kilcullen, Co Kildare.

That’s according to Paddy Jordan of Jordan Town and County Estates, who’s selling the 87-acre holding at auction on May 21.

The well-sheltered farm is laid out in 12 divisions. It also comes under the Elton soil series and this particular limestone-based land is ideal for bloodstock, he adds.
