Farm relaunched for spring
That’s according to Sarah O’Keeffe of Daniel Fleming Auctioneers, who says that the property would suit equestrian buyers as the previous owner bred Beau Ranger on the farm, a second-place finisher in the Gold Cup.
The farm is suitable for grass or tillage, adds O’Keefe, and is laid out in large, easily worked divisions. It also comes with a large yard with a range of outbuildings, haybarns, 12 stables and a tack room.
The area is renowned for tillage and dry stock farming, she says, and the farmhouse is surrounded by lovely stone outbuildings that could have conversion potential.
Best of all, it comes with 112 acres of excellent tillage land in one block and this is let out at the moment.
The property is an executor sale by private treaty and the guide on the entire holding is in the region of €2 million.
Just a mile and half off the main Cork/Limerick road, the property is very well located and is only four miles from Mallow and three miles from Doneraile. It’s also close to New Twopothouse.
This is a residential farm sale and the house is a three bedroomed bungalow that’s in fairly good condition, according to Ms O’Keeffe, even though it hasn’t been lived in for a while.
The land is well laid out and is perfect for tillage as the 112 acres are in eight, large divisions with a central farm roadway, so it’s well managed at present.
There could be the option to sell the land in lots and Fleming Auctioneers expect keen interest in this property, especially in the light of the upturn in agriculture this year.
