Only quarter of milk retail price

LIQUID milk suppliers now get only quarter of the retail price of milk, according to Limerick IFA member David Thompson, Pallasgreen.

He said the supermarket price has increased to 230 cents for two litres, while the farmers who put in the most work and the biggest investment, get the least return for their labour and investment.
