Armagh buyer’s second equestrian buy

A COUNTY Armagh equestrian buyer has made his second purchase of land in the south with this month’s acquisition of 80 acres at Cloneen, Dromcollogher, near the Cork-Limerick border.

Armagh buyer’s second equestrian buy

Glen Knight bought the grazing farm and a two-storey dwelling for just under a million euro, but Banteer auctioneer, Stephen Cahill, declined to confirm the specific amount.

The same purchaser is also believed to have bought Farm Hill House, a mini-stud near Liscarroll, Co Cork.

That property, whose vendor was well known trainer and breeder, Terry Jennings, was sold following an auction, for around €1.2 million.

The joint agents for that sale were Maurice Cohalan of Cohalan Downing and John Hodnett of SWS Property Services, and it had an original guide price of €1.3 million.
