Property sure to woo buyers

FRONTAGE onto two roads, and its location near Charleville in North Cork, will attract plenty of takers for a 60 acre property at Cooleens, Charleville, Co Cork.

Property sure to woo buyers

The land is due to go to auction on April 4 at Springfort Hall through selling agent Ted Sheehan of Charleville.

Good pasture land is how he describes the farm, which has been let for a number of years, but which is nonetheless in good heart. It’s all in one block, with water laid on to all six divisions.

Just off the Cork road and a mile from Charleville, the land has frontage onto the Ballyhea road and a minor road and has little waste.

The agent wasn’t giving a pre-auction guide, but it’s likely that the farm will make over the average for the area, which is €20,000 to €25,000 per acre.

As an add-on to an existing farm, it’s a handy size and the proximity to Charleville could make a long-term development prospect, the agent says.
