Breeding results at open days

TEAGASC will reveal the latest dairy cow breed and crossbreeding trial results at Moorepark open days on Thursday and Friday, February 1 and 2, where farmers can also see and discuss new developments in low cost housing and slurry storage and use of forage crops to reduce winter feed costs.

Breeding results at open days

The open days are for all farmers, but farmers in Cork and Kerry are invited to attend on Thursday, while Friday is open to farmer from all other counties.

First year milk production, health and reproductive performance results will be given from Moorepark’s comparison of Jerseys, Norwegian reds and their crossbreds, with Holstein Friesians.
