Weekly throughput back by almost 5,000 lambs

THERE has been very little change in lamb prices over the past week, but any adjustment there has been was in the wrong direction, except from a farmer’s point of view.

Weekly throughput  back by almost 5,000 lambs

Factories are equally divided between those which maintained prices at last week’s level, and those which cut by 3 cents/kg (1p/lb).

Base prices range from 347 to 342 cents/kg (124p to 122p/lb). Bonus payments of 6 cents/kg (2p/lb) apply where applicable for quality.
