O’Sullivan builds on dairy cattle success

A LIMERICK farmer, who combines cattle breeding and milk production with managing his Glebe Properties house building business, continued a successful year for his dairy cattle at Iverk Show in Co Kilkenny last week.

Martin O’Sullivan from Newcastlewest showed the show champion, Peamount Duc Dainty, and was the centre of attention as he accepted the championship award from Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny, TD.

The other big event at the show was the Tullamore Dew Broodmare and Foal All-Ireland Championship; Michael Roche, Foulksmills, Co Wexford took the €2,540 prize.
