Breeder Bowe’s filly wins Limerick Lady title

BREEDING came to the fore in the Irish Horse Board-sponsored Limerick Lady championship at the Limerick Show.

The title was won by J J Bowe, Kilteely Stud, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, with an unnamed filly which he bred. The filly is by Porter Rhodes, out of Ghareeb Sky.

Bowe won the same competition in 1994 with the champion’s grandmother, which also won the Limerick Matron title the following year. “I’m delighted,” said Bowe.
