Mayo horse exhibitor wins award

MAYO enjoyed All Ireland success in more places than Croke Park last Sunday.

Leading horse exhibitor Luke Morley, Knock, captured the A Browne Filly Foal All Ireland title at Moate Show in Co Westmeath. His filly by Big Sink Hope out of Oh Carolena took the honours. At the same show the All Ireland Festive Cook of the Year award was won by Esthel Lloyd, Winetown, Rathowen, Co Westmeath, with Gillian Hobson, Hacketstown, Co Carlow, taking the reserve title.
