First agribusiness and retail park

UP TO 800 farmers per week attending Kilkenny Livestock Mart will be among customers expected at Cillín Hill, Ireland’s first agribusiness and retail park.

First agribusiness and retail park

Relocating from the city centre, the mart company decided to purpose build the 28 acre development, 2.5km from Kilkenny City on the N10 road to Dublin and Waterford.

This new concept for Ireland has worked well in Scotland, where Thainstone’s in Aberdeen has become a thriving agri-trade centre, including retail, conference, livestock trade, farm equipment and hardware auctions, as well as the main mart and agri-centre in the North East of Scotland.
