Watch out for the new breed of Gators

THE new 4WD Gator utility vehicle is now available from the John Deere agricultural dealer network in the UK and Ireland, base priced at €12,637, including canopy.

The two-seater Gator (which stands for General All-purpose Turf and Off-Road vehicle) is designed for transporting, loading, hauling, dumping and general materials handling.

Powered by a 20hp Yanmar Tier 2 diesel engine, the HPX 4x4 Gator is available with on-demand four wheel drive. A dash-mounted electronic rocker switch controls an auto-locking front differential for extra traction in challenging conditions, or to maintain two wheel drive for lighter operations.
