FARM investment grants and other farm schemes will be the main topic for discussion at an IFA-organised public meeting in the Oriel House Hotel, Ballincollig, tomorrow night.

The meeting, which will commence at 8.30pm, is expected to attract a large turnout of farmers who intend to upgrade their farmyards under the new Farm Investment Scheme, which officially commenced in March this year.

The Cork Central IFA Chairman, Gerard O’Connell, has put together a high profile panel of speakers, which includes Mr Dan Gahan from the Department of Agriculture, Mr Gerry Gunning from IFA Dublin, and also Frank O’Flynn from Cork County Council Environment Section.
