Dairygold properties to let and for sale
Alchemy Properties, a Dairygold subsidiary, said the properties comprise mainly of commercial and storage buildings, many with yards.
Managing director Michael Hogan said the leasing or sale of these fourteen sites is part of the company’s overall objective to generate future income for the business and its shareholders.
“The income generated from the lease or sale of the sites will be relatively modest but it will contribute to financing our planned development projects,” he said.
The properties comprise five Cork sites at Ballinamona, Ballyclough, Ballyhooly, Castletown-roche and Kilcorney, four Limerick sites at Adare, Ballysimon, Drombanna, and Hospital and five Tipperary sites, two in Ardfinnan and one each in Ballyporeen, Clogheen and Kilross.
Ballyclough, Ballypo-reen, Castletownroche, Drombanna and Adare are offered for lease only.
Mr Hogan said any sale which might be negotiated will only be undertaken prudently with a view to best realising the potential value of the properties.
“Income from property sales will be put to work to build value and growth in the business for all shareholders,” Mr Hogan said.
Hamilton Osborne King (HOK) in Cork have been appointed agents for the properties.
Alchemy recently announced plans for a €100 million edge of town development in Mallow and a €50m town centre development in Midleton.
