A PILOT programme of independent monitoring of milk testing is back on track, after a change of heart by Teagasc.

It has now been confirmed that independent test results from 50 North Munster dairy farms will be monitored and compared with results from milk processors next year, with the assistance of Teagasc.

Limerick IFA chairman Michael O'Flynn told a meeting in Adare that the programme is back on track and he welcomed the decision by Teagasc to co-operate.
