Dairy conference dates announced

The dates and venues for the annual Teagasc national dairy conferences were announced yesterday.

They will take place at the Árd Rí Hotel in Waterford on November 16 and at the Slieve Russell Hotel in Cavan on November 17.

Issues discussed at the conferences will include the competitiveness of the Irish dairy industry and the opportunities provided by the single farm payment scheme for dairy farmers.
