Dairy conference dates announced
They will take place at the Árd Rí Hotel in Waterford on November 16 and at the Slieve Russell Hotel in Cavan on November 17.
Issues discussed at the conferences will include the competitiveness of the Irish dairy industry and the opportunities provided by the single farm payment scheme for dairy farmers.
Research and advisory staff from Teagasc and other national and international speakers will deal with increasing competition and profitability on dairy farms in a reducing price environment.
