O’Sullivan’s dairy double

A RISE in the number of cattle entries at shows so far this season continued at Clonakilty where 200 animals from the main breeds were entered for various classes.

David and Michael O’Sullivan, Knockbrown, Bandon, won both the champion and reserve champion rosettes in the West Cork Irish bred Friesian championships.

In the beef breeds, Michael Hickey made the long journey from Kilcommon, Thurles, Co Tipperary, worthwhile by taking the Limousin championship.
