Lot with 22,117 gallons of quota for sale
Mr O’Brien is selling 22,117 gallons of quota to 22 acres of land, and says the asking price is €17,000 per acre. It’s one lot of a 54-acre holding and the remaining lot is 32 acres, which includes 18 acres of hilly glen and a quota of 8,483 gallons.
The two lots face each other across a public road. South-facing and well-maintained, the land is for sale by private treaty at the moment.
It’s likely the land will go to auction before the end of March, says Mr O’Brien.
