Chance to trade up or expand on 89 acres

WHILE the farmhouse mightn’t be the prettiest property in the south, the lands of 89 acres near Bandon could repay the guide price of 12,700 per acre, including part of a quota of 53,543 gallons.
Chance to trade up or expand on 89 acres

This 85-acre farm at Kilcoleman, Enniskeane has been on the market with Sean Twomey, of Twomey Crowley Auctioneers, and the agent is now to bring the property to auction on November 22.

He is offering the farm in lot one of 56 acres with the residence and 33,543 gallons of quota, and the farmyard; lot two of 33 acres in one field with 20,000 gallons; or in its entirety.

Located five miles west of Bandon and eight miles from Clonakilty, the land is good quality and practically without waste, says the agent.

The yard has accommodation for 72 head, an eight unit milking parlour, two open silos, a three bay shed and two lean-tos, as well as a slurry tank.

There has been a good deal of interest in the property so far, and Mr Twomey is expecting a good attendance.
