Illegal agricultural goods discussed

BUFFALO meat from India falsely declared as beef from Australia and New Zealand, adulterated butter and tiger nuts imported as flower bulbs.

These were some of the examples of illegal agricultural products discussed by European Union experts yesterday in Bled, Slovenia.

Fraud investigators, vets and public health experts from all over the EU discussed the risks involved in the trade in such goods and the counter measures required.
