Agri Aware puts children to the test

YOUNG visitors to the National Ploughing Championships at Grangeford, Tullow, Co Carlow, next week, will be challenged by Agri Aware to test their knowledge of agriculture and food-related issues.

Agri Aware chairman TJ Maher said the three-day event provides a perfect opportunity to test children’s level of knowledge on these issues.

Agri Aware personnel will be roaming the ploughing site in search of the industry’s stars of the future. They will be asking visiting children a series of simple questions in return for specially commissioned prizes.
