Glanbia 4.8m gallons of milk over quota

GLANBIA disclosed yesterday that it is currently 4.8 million gallons of milk over quota.

Figures for the end of January show that supplies have continued to increase steadily to what it described as “a very serious situation“.

Glanbia Milk Function chief executive Michael O’Neill urged all its suppliers to monitor their own milk quota situation very carefully and to take remedial action if needed.
