Carbery expands
Its US Flavors & Fragrances subsidiary has substantially invested this year in laboratory and manufacturing capacity, while selling its fragrance business, in order to focus on flavour activities.
The Group also recently announced a joint venture €5m whey processing investment in the UK with AJ & R G Barber Ltd, a Somerset cheese maker. It involves establishing a state of the art plant at Barbers’ site, scheduled to be producing high quality whey protein concentrates by January, 2005.
