Rain is 33/1 on August 20
Although the region has more rain than the Irish average, Cappamore Agricultural Show enjoyed fine weather every year since 1954.
Organisers expect the sun to bless their new show grounds at Bilboa on August 20. Long serving secretary, Paddy Ryan says that even in the worst years, the show got a fine day. Once, in the mid-1980s, ground conditions were waterlogged and the show was moved to a hard surface in the town but they still got the only fine day of the week. The show caters for all livestock categories.
