Although the region has more rain than the Irish average, Cappamore Agricultural Show enjoyed fine weather every year since 1954.

Organisers expect the sun to bless their new show grounds at Bilboa on August 20. Long serving secretary, Paddy Ryan says that even in the worst years, the show got a fine day. The show caters for all livestock categories.
