THERE has been a somewhat muted government response to the great news that Ireland is in the top 10 of countries for cleaning up its environment.

We are the envy of the world after making it to 10th place out of 133 countries for environmental health.

Even if many people here may not be aware of this great breakthrough, the world is, because it was announced last Thursday in Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum.
