On course to exceed last year's superlevy fine of €9.6m

SUPPLIERS to Kerry Group and Glanbia have gone over quota by a total of 7.3 million gallons.

Town of Monaghan and Dairygold between them add 4m gallons to Ireland’s over-production.

With milk supplies now exceeding last year’s levels, a superlevy fine similar to or more than last year’s €9.6m is on the cards.
