ONE field of 55 acres, bounded by a fine stone wall is on offer at Rochestown, Grange, Kilmallock through Brian Gleeson of Liam Gleeson and Sons, Auctioneers.

The horsey anchorman for RTE and the BBC describes the holding as top quality and says there has been a ‘plethora of interest’ so far.

In fact, at the time of going to press, he has an offer of 500,000 on the land, but expects close to 600,000.
